Best bets for VSiN's BetCast: Chelsea-Sheffield United

By Nigel Seeley  (

It's incredibly Week 6 of the VSiN EPL Betcast this weekend and this Saturday's match comes from Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea host a struggling Sheffield United with kick-off 12:30 p.m. ET.

Chelsea spent big in the summer and it took Frank Lampard's new look side a bit of time to jell at the start of the new season but they are firing on all cylinders currently and will take a lot of stopping this weekend.

The Blues' are no real "value" price in the match markets where they are rated -300 for the win in 90-minutes, but I wouldn't put off any big hitters booking that price or anyone looking for a team to add in their EPL parlay.

Chelsea have kept five consecutive clean sheets which is the the first time that they have managed that in 10 years and since the arrival of new goalkeeper Edouardo Mendy from Rennes they look a much more solid defensive unit and one that should easily be able to handle the impotent Sheffield United attack.

The Blades have been far from impressive in offense and in front of goal this season. Chris Wilder's side have now failed to score in four of their seven Premier League matches and have only managed just one goal from open play this campaign and only two goals from open play in their last 10 EPL matches.

Some books offer a price on Chelsea to win to nil and at  125 that looks the best way to play this match if you are able to get down on that market. If you are unable the best way to play this match is to bet Chelsea to win 1-0 { 700), 2-0 ( 650) and 3-0 ( 900).

Timo Werner was the big signing of the summer for Chelsea and the German striker has finally found his scoring boots and is also on PKs after replacing Jorginho and he looks a nice play at even odds to score at anytime in this match.

I have really been impressed with WEST HAM in recent weeks and David Moyes' side should be bet at (-120) to win at home against Fulham in the match that follows Chelsea vs. Sheffield United on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET.

The Hammers played really well at Anfield last week and should have got at least a point against an out-of-form Liverpool and in the matches prior to that defeat at the champions they had draws with both Man City and Tottenham, and thrashed Leicester 3-0.

At their London Stadium home, they haven't lost since the first day of the season and have been scoring goals for fun and with Fulham conceding a hatful on the road, the extra goal threat from West Ham is clear to see.

West Ham's top goal-scorer Michail Antonio will still be out injured for the home side -- a huge blow -- but they should still have enough quality to see off Fulham, a side that despite registering their first Premier League of the season at home to West Brom on Monday have just one point from their four away matches this season and have conceded nine goals in those games.

The biggest match of the EPL season so far comes from the Etihad on Saturday when EPL favourites Manchester City host champions Liverpool.

Both of these two sides have been below their best at the start of the new season, but despite their indifferent starts Liverpool are sitting pretty at the top of the EPL table and City are still in the shake-up.

City are around even money for the win here which looks on the short side in my opinion judging on the displays I have witnessed in recent weeks and they will be without their main striker Sergio Aguero.

Liverpool have their injury problems as well without Virgil van Dijk and Brazilian international Fabinho and without those two in a huge match like this I couldn't bet them either with any confidence at  240. For me the only "value" play has to be the draw in the match at  300, as I am certain that both managers would take a point now if you offered it to them.
