Position: Director of Broadcast Operations 

Director of Broadcast Operations Job Description:

Manage the day to day operation of the multiple production studios, and master control facility at VSiN. Develop staff training, maintain quality control of on-air product. Work with distribution partners to ensure content is delivered timely and correctly. Develop operations budget for staffing and production needs. Work with other departments to develop and improve production, graphics, engineering and content functions and processes.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Staff Circa and South Point sites with support of site production supervisors
• Generate effective staff training and on boarding processes
• Analyze and budget out future staffing needs
• Create system for tracking on air issues for improvement in content production
• Work with creative director to improve content look, efficiency and implementation on air
• Work with engineering to ensure proper functioning of systems, IT, transmission and facilities
• Work with content partners to make sure transmission, and file delivery meets their needs
• On board new distribution partners and channels of distribution
• Support advertising and promotion of VSiN with distribution partners
• Work with remote production coordinator, to ensure functional transmission

Required Experience:

• 1-3 years media industry, production experience
• Knowledge of industry trends and ability to articulate trends and impact on trading
• Effective time management skills – Set priorities, meet deadlines, communicate schedule
• Leadership skills
• Staffing and training experience
