1/ST BET A.I. Pick of the Week 6/4

We’ve been tinkering with the Artificial Intelligence programs at 1/ST BET, which gives us more than 50 data points (such as speed, pace, class, jockey, trainer and pedigree stats) for every race based on how you like to handicap.

After winning with Highly Motivated ($3.70) at Belmont last Saturday, we’re 27-for-57 (47.4 percent) since taking over this feature last spring. Based on a $2 Win bet on the A.I. Pick of the Week, that’s $114 in wagers and payoffs totaling $106.60 for an ROI of $1.87 for every $2 wagered.

This week, I ran the races picked by our stable of handicapping friends at “Team Tuley’s Thoroughbred Takes” through the 1/ST BET programs and came up with our A.I. Pick of the Week:

Saturday, June 4, 2022

Churchill Race 10 (5:26 p.m. ET/2:26 p.m. PT)

#8 Americanrevolution (8-5 ML odds)

* Americanrevolution ranks 1st in a whopping 21 of the 52 factors used by 1/ST BET A.I.

* This 4-year-old son of Constitution also ranks 1st in 9 of the “Top 15 Factors” at betmix.com, including best lifetime speed, best speed at the track, best speed at the track, best last race class, best last race turn time and average lifetime earnings.

* Americanrevolution also ranks 2nd in three more categories: percentage of horses beaten, last purse and trainer win percentage the last 2 years (Todd Pletcher).
