We’ve been tinkering with the Artificial Intelligence programs at 1/ST BET, which gives us more than 50 data points (such as speed, pace, class, jockey, trainer and pedigree stats) for every race based on how you like to handicap.
Last week, we won with Speaker’s Corner ($5) in Gulfstream’s Fred W. Hooper Stakes as we moved farther above .500 at 23-for-43 since taking over this feature. Based on a $2 Win bet on the A.I. Pick of the Week, that’s $86 in wagers and payoffs totaling $93.60 for an ROI of $2.18 for every $2 wagered.
This week, I ran the races picked by our stable of handicapping friends at “Team Tuley’s Thoroughbred Takes” through the 1/ST BET programs and came up with our A.I. Pick of the Week:

* Despite being lightly raced, she is also in the Top 5 in 6 of the other 10 categories, including average earnings at the distance, best speed on a fast track, last turn time and jockey record in current year (Dylan Davis).
